As a mom of 4 quickly growing boys, I create beauty in different ways. What I may find beautiful, my boys may not, and vice versa. Today was “make a week’s worth of waffles” day. Every week, I make around 50 waffles (6 batches) so that I can keep them in the freezer so all I have to do in the mornings is heat them up in the toaster oven. It is so much cheaper than buying Eggo waffles and the boys get a bigger breakfast so they are not as hungry at school. They enjoy the waffles I make with Bisquick. Nothing fancy, but I do add some cinnamon to add a little personal touch. But, they REALLY enjoy eating the waffles on the day I make them. My oldest boys are virtual students on Mondays until after Spring Break, so they were able to eat waffles straight off the waffle iron today. It makes me feel good that I can provide a form of beauty to them that way. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, forms, colors, and tastes!
